The agricultural program that is promoted in the communities is helping farmer discover new planting techniques such as greenhouses. It is a protected production technique that minimizes risks and improvement in production.
The greenhouses are simple structures, easy to build. They do not require complicated building equipment. The farmers are in charge of the construction with knowledge they have gained and technical assessment from ILAC.
This new production system is helping the forest and the environment since farmers do not have to cut or burn trees every year to establish their crops, but through greenhouses built in small areas they can have a better production.
With the family green houses, we propose:
- An increase in agricultural production especially vegetables.
- An increase in the number of crops at least two per year.
- Optimize material and financial resources using them in the best possible way.
